How it began & Now

The idea for OLD SOUL, my life & style brand, blossomed when I found out I was going to be a parent for the first time, to a beautiful little girl Alhumdulilah. As I pondered the journey ahead of raising my daughter in the Islamic faith, and how to foster love for Allah in her I delved deep into the ways beyond the obligatory acts of prayer and Quranic recitation. I yearned to infuse our daily lives with various forms of ibadah, seamlessly integrating the remembrance of Allah into our moments, turning it into a natural rhythm throughout the day rather than a segmented practice confined to prayer times. I wanted to teach our child the Islamic way of life.
From a simple room with plain walls, the vision for OLD SOUL was born - to design pieces that are not only aesthetically pleasing  but also serve as gentle reminders to keep Allah in our thoughts throughout the day.

And so, the journey of OLD SOUL began, a life & style brand that aims to blend sophistication, floral essence, and spiritual resonance into the very fabric of modern Muslim living.

A couple years down the road, after the arrival of my son D, my cozy little family of 4 made the move to a charming town in Northern Ireland. Taking some time to settle into our new surroundings, I made the conscious decision to focus on nurturing my brand, OLD SOUL, and delving into the creation of products that would not only enhance my own life but also add a touch of beauty to my recently established home - thus giving rise to OLD SOUL SOUK.

As time went on, I felt compelled to divide my brand into two distinct entities:

- OLD SOUL SONA, a space where you can accompany me on my journey as I embrace the fresh opportunities that Northern Ireland has to offer, alongside my family, business endeavors, and thrilling escapades.

- OLD SOUL SOUK, a realm where you'll discover an array of products featuring simplistic, yet elegant designs infused with a hint of floral allure and spiritual significance.
